What started as a favor and hobby endeavor in the mid nineties has developed into a vital aspect of our business today. Our contact with the whitetail industry has grown over the last fifteen years. With the goals of superior antler growth, good health, breeding and genetics the common missing link for most has been balanced nutrition.

With our knowledge of ruminant nutrition and livestock management we have been able to provide a tool to help assure success. The guidelines we provide not only apply to the deer farmer, but the avid hunter and the outdoor enthusiast.

The art of good nutrition is to achieve balance of all the required nutrients necessary to maintain good health, growth and energy to work, at a minimum cost. The utilization of foodstuffs that a producer may grow, harvest or pasture supplemented with the nutrients required to maintain balance are keys to success.

Protein, energy ( fats and carbohydrates ) major minerals, trace minerals and vitamins A,D and E are all required on a daily basis along with fresh water.

Whitetail nutrition is most successful when good genetic potential is maximized. That coupled with good management are paramount to a successful enterprise.
